The Southern Alberta Walleye Trail (SAWT) is a volunteer-run, non-profit tournament series established in 1994, with over 30 years of history promoting responsible sport fishing and the long-term sustainability of Alberta’s fisheries. We host competitive catch-and-release walleye tournaments each season, including a Pro/Am event designed to introduce new anglers to tournament fishing while reinforcing ethical fishing practices and conservation.
